ABOUT ME

Never know a stranger! I am very friendly and love to have good conservations with anyone. I am retired now and would like to travel more than I have but hope to in the near future. I have an adventurous nature. I am 71 years of age but love to be around and to talk to people of any age. I have grandchildern from the age of 30 to 11 years and they still like to be around "their grandma". I am young at heart! I have learned that friends can be long term or c short terms, but meeting new friends came be on going for all your life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This is all new to me! My son is a member of couchsufing and so I am going to try it. I have a couch for a person (a women with or without a child)and or could meet for coffee. I do live in a 55 plus community so there are some rules I have to go by, but can have anyone of any age for a night or two as long as it is not to often.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have none at this time, but looking forward to this experience.

Intereses

I have and will try many things. I am an artist and crafts person, so I love to try different medias both art and crafts. My family is an important part of my life, but not all my life, that's one reason I am here on couchsurfing, would like to meet other people of different areas and interests. I try to learn something new everyday, be it a person or a thing. I have many interests and sometimes have to say to myself stop hold on to this interest for a little while longer. Life is to short to let to much grass grow under your feet.

Música, películas y libros

I like most any type of music, but of course I like the 50's music for that's what I grow up on. However my father's family where fiddle players so as a small child, I loved the music they played which was bluegrass and old country music.

Algo increíble que he hecho

There has been many of those moments in my life of 71 years. So everyday can be an awestruck moment. Two years ago I took a trip accross United States by myself with my car and my pop-up camper named "Pulling Miss Dasiey" (she has flowers on her). It me four months and I went 14,000 miles and meet great people all around the country.
