Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing changed my life and my thinking. Through couchsurfing I found myself and found the "things" which makes you really happy in life. The simply-things in life, makes me happier, than the biggest. Collecting memories not things, because they will stay forever in my mind. A lot of people, who i met through this application, will stay forever in my heart! I see couchsurfing as a big social- or a lifeexperiment. I learnt a lot of others and i found myself!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Doing 4 times backpacking solo in Egypt, 1 time solo in Poland, 1 time solo through Romania ended up in Istanbul....
"Egypt is no destination for back-packing especially not for a female solo-traveller", these words i heard many times from the people arround me....I m so happy, that i was brave enough to do it, i made the best memories of my life with that. I came alone, but I never felt alone....thanks to the people of Egypt, who shared with me their homes, food, happy moments; they will stay forever in my heart!
2021- at the end of my 7 weeks solo trip through Egypt i broke my leg at Mount Sinai. It took me 2 surgeries and at least 1 year to recover. The insurance let me wait 5 days untill they picked me up from Egypt. During this time strangers cared for me for everything.
In january 2023 i lost 5 hours before my homeflight my wallet in the middle of a bussy street in Egypt- passport, flightticket and 200 euros inklusive. I thought it will be lost forever... i ran back without hope and i found an smiling egyptian, who waited extra for me to give me everything back.
So you see, how dangerous egypt is :-)
