ABOUT ME

I love learning about the world through travel. Seeing the world is one of the few childhood goals I can claim to have had. There is not a place on the planet I do not want to go. I have had many opportunities to travel, and I hope that by joining CC I will find a way to give back to the traveling community that has been so supportive of me on my various treks.

PHILOSOPHY

Being bored simply does not make sense to me: there is always something more to discover.

Finding acceptance may not be the hardest part--realizing that you've got it and letting it in can be.

I've only had a couple CS experiences, but they have been great. What an awesome community that I have had the pleasure of visiting from the American midwest and west coast to Dublin, Ireland!

Intereses

I love to have great conversations about ANY topic that a person is truly passionate about. I also enjoy cooking and baking, so those conversations are often held over a meal or dessert. I am transitioning my life to a more raw foods diet. I'm not there yet, but I am discerning the balance for my own life.

Hiking outdoors, bowling, and going rollerskating are some of my favorite things to do with new friends. I spend most of my time reading books, watching films, going for walks or biking, baking, or just talk with friends. Spending time outdoors makes me happiest. I am trying to make more time for camping and hiking in my future.

I am also an animal lover! Currently, I am without a pet of my own, but I love spending time with others', especially dogs.

Going on a week and half solo trip in Australia, where I met fantastic people, walked the length of Canberra without sufficient water, and learned how much I dislike Vegemite.

I know a bit about traveling on your own in Europe and Australia. I am very open to answering questions about living and studying in Denmark, as I exchanged here as an undergraduate . I also love to learn from other travelers, and I am always looking for advice for my next trip.

I also like sharing what I know about philosophy, and I love talking about philosophy in the practical ways that values impact our everyday lives.
