About Me
CURRENT MISSION
On the road, to experience our brave new world first hand while doing something meaningful other that money motivated 9 to 5 and share this with fellow explorers :)
ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Lisbon until the day I packed my bags and moved to the UK.
In 2007 I came to London with the somewhat definite plan to go for a master degree...
After living in East London (highly recommend it) for two years and working in an Admin role, saving up as much money as I could - yes, it is possible to save money in London :)- I realized that I wanted to do more with my life... And so it was that a few jokes around the kitchen table while contemplating the world map brought me to where I am now.
On the brink of probably one the most exciting challenges in my life I still have to fight the perhaps innate impulse of questioning whether I have completely lost my mind or have taken the sanest decision since I came to be in this world!
I shall leave my comfortable 9 to 5 and embark on a journey towards personal growth while dedicating my efforts towards something I feel as meaningful. This will allow me to experience volunteering abroad, woofing and couch surfing. I worked for a period in social projects and am believer in empowerment and in the ability to mobilize change.
I am yet to decide my route but whatever it may be perhaps our paths will meet on our journeys!
PHILOSOPHY
Life is a journey that takes us wherever we dare to go!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been hosted by unique people so far and it was a great experience to say the least (thank you Marilia and João and Mahmoud), also met the Barcelona CS group and that was incredible. Due to my travels I have not yet hosted but as soon as I can, count me in for some surfing!
Interests
I love to be in nature, to connect, dance like there's no tomorrow, share a good laugh; explore unusual places & deviations in the art world, tastes, sounds, textures, colors, perspectives... Reading is most definitely a delight and films, theatre and live music a treat. Sharing these moments make them all the more special.
I have been told that I talk quite a bit although I also enjoy my reflective moments..
