About Me
Hey everyone, my name is Margarita!
I am from this beautiful place called Colombia, located in South America. It's an amazing place to live but, even though I haven't yet seen it all, I can't wait to start traveling abroad to discover new places, people and customs all over the globe.
I've found myself living in a comfort zone for a while now, so I've decided I have to move and start a new chapter in my life. The plan is a misterious trip to Europe (not quite planned yet, so I'm accepting any suggestions and recommendations), and hopefully some life re-charging couple of months abroad. I wish to see as many new landscapes I can, try as many traditional food there is and why not? getting to know you :).
During my journey, I would love to share all my knowledge with you, and I'd be thrilled to learn new stuff and discover all the amazing places you have to share . Let's pass on the knowledge, so it doesn't disappear!!
Let's meet up and chat during a cup of coffee, a beer or even a glass of wine :)
PS: If you are from/live in Europe and you can help me out with some suggestions on what to do/eat (low budget) or even with 1 or 2 nights of accomodation, I'll be glad to cook some delicious Colombian food for you and remember that you'll have a friend in Colombia in case you're traveling here.
Thanks a lot!! Have a beautiful day!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm currently planning a re-charging trip to Europe, so I'm open to suggestions/recommendations on what to do, where to go, what to eat and of course, I'd be really happy to get to meet you guys and have a great time.
Interests
What I love the most is traveling, but I also like writting letters, drawing and learning different types of art. I enjoy a good coffee, all kinds of music and dancing around. I'm a huge fan of silence (of course just in the right times, like a sunset or a great movie or theater play). Also, even though i like big cities, i would rather enjoy visiting a small town or a natural reserve instead.
I'm trying to read a little bit more often, started knitting a couple of months ago and enjoy talking about languages and the way they work and sound.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm not sure I have done something amazing just yet, but I know how to knit a traditional indigenous backpack (which is pretty cool, i think haha) and I've gone to Cabo de la Vela in Colombia. That trip was absolutely amazing and I would recommend anyone who wants to come here to visit this magical spot.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would always be happy to teach you guys Spanish. Also I'm open to cook traditional colombian meals, If you're interested in art, we can even have a creative session as well.
I'm an open minded person, so basically if you have any knowledge you want to pass on, I'm the right person. Always happy to learn a little bit more.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my language, I can cook for your and even wash the dishes, I can share, all the things I've been able to learn so far. I can take care of pets and also share the music I listen to.
