I've lived in 8 countries in the last 12 years..

In short - I left Latvia, when I was 19, right after high school. Lived in France, Paris, then Spain, UK, Australia for the first time, New Zealand, Canada - Vancouver for a year, Mexico, Canada - Toronto for 2 years, and finally got back to my Australia. I've been living in Sydney since 2019 now.
I used to use Couchsurfing and was very active in the community when I was a bit younger and absolutely loved it. I've met so many amazing people, travelers, free thinkers, free spirits, it's amazing. In covid and lockdown times, tourism industry and everything was shut down, so of course Courchsurfing was not my top priority. Now, I'm back at it and will get more active again.
