My name is Margarita. I am a politically-active nonbinary trans, zinester, animator, and performance artist. I run a zine collective and travel around the world tabling at various zinefests along the way! I love to write and cook large communal meals for anyone willing to eat! I cook and bake vegan and make delicious nut cheese! I play a bunch of instruments, sing and love to think up new ideas for musicals or operas. One of my long-term goals is to write an opera and make all the costumes and instruments to be performed for it. I have made musical instruments before and find it fascinating. I am committed to sustainability, equality, intersectionality, and queering space!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd love to meet some new people wherever I'm traveling. I've found that living in collective houses where we regularly hosted couchsurfers, there are so many great experiences and perspectives to be had by meeting people from all over the world. I'd like to continue that by traveling around and making art the folks I meet.
