About Me

In September, I moved to Taiwan to be a French Teacher's assistant in Zhongli. Last year, I was a French student studying in the USA, in Michigan. I already went abroad for one year when I was nineteen and I very much enjoy meeting new people from different culture. Now that I graduated, I would like to volunteer and find different jobs around the world. However, because I'm in dormitories I can't host people at my place but I'm looking forward to doing it when I will have my own place !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is a great way to have amazing experiences as you meet new people from all over the world. I think that the best way to discover a place is when someone that knows it very well can share with you their experiences and what they think makes this place special. Couchsurfing is also really great to find people that are traveling at the same time as you in the same place. I had the best experience spending time with people from Couchsurfing when I was traveling with a friend in Riga in Latvia and in the USA

Interests

I love to travel and what I enjoy most of all about travelling is how you can do simple things that becomes amazing memories, as the things you would do at home can be so different somewhere else. I am really interested in enjoying what I am doing and appreciate the moment. I like to have a nice discussion with people while enjoying a drink or food. I like to walk around in unknown places and find great places touristic guides would never have talked about.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movies would be Lawrence Anyways and the Fisher King (I can't decide between the two of them). My favorite band would be Sigur Ros among many others and my favorite book would be one series I used to read when I was a teenager which is Bobby Pendragon. I read many classics during my Bachelor; Shakespeare and Hawthorne and many more but for some reason, I'm really attached to this series for teenager (:

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Aaaah, one amazing thing I've done... Let's see ! I think it would be when I moved to Taiwan when I was 19. I decided to go there to learn Chinese whereas I had never travelled alone before and I had never tried to speak neither English or Chinese before that either. It was a great experience at every level, it was not easy everyday but I really grew up there!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share what I have learnt on the different cultures during my trips and also my own experiences. I would be happy to share what I know about the French culture also.
