Overview
About Me
I am travelling for the summer-my first time in Canada! Hoping to meet people and learn.
During the year, I work in a Wellness Center inside a public high school, offering emotional and mental support to students as well as queer inclusive, consent-based safer sex education and harm reduction education on drugs and alcohol.
I'm passionate about social justice and interested in solidarity economies–including coops. I also like to think a lot about decision-making structures, education, our interconnectedness with nature, and to learn about anti-oppressive and/or sustainable initiatives people are doing.
I love to make art, knit, and spend time in nature (hiking, camping, chilling in parks), and having thoughtful conversations that foster learning and growth.
I am pretty laid-back and adaptable. I value respect and open communication (NOT looking for hook-ups) and love to learn and have new experiences!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and getting to know the local culture. Right now, I'm hoping to find a host in Toronto, but also looking to meet people interested in spending time in nature or talking about coops, sociocracy, and the solidarity economy.
