I've always found it difficult to write about myself...but there's nothing like a challenge, eh?

So. Hello. I'm an American student (born and raised in California, attended high school and college in Kentucky). Currently, I'm studying in Strasbourg, France with a program directed by my American University, Centre College. I'm focusing in Environmental Studies and French.

I've studied French for six years now, and am always looking to improve my communication skills. I've recently started learning American Sign Language and German as well, both of which I would like to continue studying.

I am an old soul and a deep sleeper. I enjoy anything to do with butter. I appreciate dark humor and quirkiness. Spring is my favorite season. I'm traveling Europe with my boyfriend, other good friends, and my stuffed animal Yak, named Bert. And I figure, what better way to travel Europe than to meet cool new people along the way?

And although I am, admittedly, a tourist, I'd like to be pointed in a non-tourist direction by people who know and love the city I'm visiting.

Also, I'm still looking for someone to take me back in time to the 1920s, probably in Paris. But anywhere in Europe would do. Let me know if you have those kind of connections.
