About Me
Hi !
I'm a young French of 26 years old. I have spent my childhood near Lyon and the Alps. I moved at Montpellier for my master degree and now, I'm still here, for my PhD in Archaeology (more specifically on food plant history, agriculture and trade during Roman Times in France, Italy and Croatia). I love this sunny city, its great and festive athmosphere, its architecture and history !. It's a good place to live.
My english is not very good but I'm working to improve myself!
I like to travel, discover other countries and people, learning about their culture. I had a great experience in Corsica, in a little sheepfold, I spend an amazing evening with an old man and his friends, he invited us for his birthday, in the moutains, with stars, sheeps and corsican songs at guitars...
I travel a lot for my work (congress, archaeological missions etc.) and I want to travel more for me, to appreciate the moment, visiting and share with people. I think it's essential to grow up from the mind. I also enjoy sharing these enriching experiences with good friends of mine.
My home is too tiny to have guests but I'll like to meet travellers who's in Montpellier.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A friend of me tell me about Couchsurfing, that it's so amazing for discovering a country from the inside.
And we have for project to travel together in Morocco in october-november ! I'm impatient and excited to see a new way to travel and to meet new people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music, a lot of styles... Electroswing (Alice Francis, Parov Stelar), dub (Chinese Man, Deluxe, ), soul (The Cat Empire), funk, retro-folk (Brigitte) and more "calm music" such as Agnès Obel for example...
I like a lot reading but I don't have a lot of time. The greatest books I have read : Le Guépard (Tomasi di Lampedusa) and Germinal (Emile Zola). I like metaphors and long (and funny) descriptions. I also like epistolary books such as Le Cercle littéraire des amateurs d'épluchures de patates (Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows -> one day I'll go to Guernesey!).
A good book is when it makes me travel, in space or in time!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swim with a manta ray in Indian ocean
Camp on Restonica Valley (Corsica) and walk to the Capitello lake
Snorkelling under a roman archaeological site in Croatia
Enjoy the snow falls during a quiet moment at the antic theater of Lyon
Countries I’ve Visited
Croatia, England, Germany, Italy, Maldives, Morocco, Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia
