Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I discover CSs thanks to my friend 2 years ago.
We were supposed to slep in a fabulous hotel and I finally end up in a couch of a man I didn't know (how weird?)... but it was THE BEST EXPERIENCE of my life!!!
How boring is to go in a new country and stay in a hotel alone (unless is a 5 stars :p)?
How exsiting is to meet local people who can teach you about the real story of the city /country? who can make you try the real culinary specialities ? who can you guide you to the real city (and not only the touristic stuff)?
