ABOUT ME

Hi,

I'm a remotely working Data Engineer living in Berlin. Currently I'm through traveling Australia.

I was born in West-Berlin, but grow up in a village next to the small, pretty, lovely town Wernigerode which is in a mountain area called Harz in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. I worked one year as an Aupair in Upstate New York, 7 months as intern at Mercedes Benz Finances in Tokyo and spend an other 6 months as exchange student at the Niigata University. I love to travell and meet people from all over the world. I prefer staying in hostels or at an locals place in comparions with hotels. You discover unseen places, meet more interessting people and get therefore a very different experience and understanding of other countries and their culture.

I think I'm a normal, open minded, nice person who wants to get along with everybody. I'm a little bit shy towards people I don't know yet but I open up myself pretty fast. It's easy to have fun with me and I like to come around and see new things, meet new people and explore a little bit of this huge world :)

In generall I love to cook. ;) Especially making a great red lentils bolognese, vegan sushi and Buddha Bowls.

While I like to visit a club from time to time I rather go to privat parties with friends or a bar. Especially if they have rock music, a pool table or some beer pong. Also love playing board or video games, BBQs or talking deep into the night while a wine bottle or some beers disappear.

I spend a lot of my free time doing sports. Volleyball is my favourit. But I also love to have good run, swim, go surfing or snowboarding, and recently started calisthenics.

Be nice and respectful to everybody because you want others to treat you like this too!

Don't fear life. The worst could only be its end!

The world doesn't own you anything, sometime you out of luck so you have to work for it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Made great CS experience when I visited San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego. It was so much more fun and I prefer it especially when I travel alone. Would like to do so again now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I already spend a great year in the US. But my year in Japan was even more exciting. It's a fascinating culture and having lived, worked and studied there I was able to see it from a very differnt angle than most people. It's a great country to travel around and full of contrasts. The nature and food are amazing, the cities clean and people are always friendly and polite. Of course there were also things I didn't like, but that comes with every country. I just know I do want to go back there for the beautiful autumn one day again.
