About Me

Hi!
I'm Margot, I'm 25. I just quit my job in a communication agency, and I'm currently transforming myself.
I'm a very curious (and talkative) person, I love meeting new people and discovering new places.
Back when I was studying, I lived in Australia for a year. It was one of the best years of my life, I got to live with people from all over the world, and I loved discovering everyone's "weird" habits, sharing our cultures, and simply have fun altogether.

-- PS : guys, CS is not tinder, if that's all you're interested in, please do us both a favor and back off ;) --

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm having a great time meeting people and discovering more than the usual tourist stuff. It's also a great way meet very different people.

Interests

I'm interested in pretty much anything. I like travelling, arts, history, nature, politics, philosophy... Basically I like learning about the world, and I especially enjoy discovering other people's passions.

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to want to be a writer and I read a lot : De Beauvoir, Camus, le Clezio, Prévert, Eluard, G Sapienza... Currently my favorite author is Saint Exupéry (yes he did write more than The little prince ;).
Movies : I'd say Wes Anderson's. I'm mainly into the "Sundance" stuff, and I also love cheesy comedies.
TV shows : The office, parks & rec, love, got, friends...
Music: indie, jazz, funk, folk, soul, electro, classical, pop rock...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A one month road-trip in Australia
My recent solo trip to Japan

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: French, I guess? I'd be happy to talk about the nice places I know about in France and around the world, and share our different interests.
I enjoy cooking with people. I'm not a good cook (at all), but it's always fun especially when it's a foreign recipe.
