About Me

ABOUT ME

This is always a hard question! I guess i can say that i am addicted to traveling, i've been doing it since i was a child, first with family and now with my friends and boyfriend. A holiday without me leaving my home, even not long or not far, is a little boring to me. And now i found CS, the best way to travel, and it really makes me happy.
Apart from this, i am interested in a million things. People say I am open minded and tolerant because i love hearing about other people's point of views on the world, their culture and philosophy of life without ever judging.
I am easy going and have fun easily. People often tell me I am shy when they first meet me and it is true it can be hard for me to talk to people I dont know. but if i feel the person is worth it then i just make the effort and everything becomes so great because in the end, i just love meeting people and making new friends.

PHILOSOPHY

I never make an opinion too quickly about someone or something. I ask questions first, learn and see for myself. It is very hard for me to really hate someone, I try to find qualities in every single person, which is maybe not always the thing to do, but i can't help it.
I try to stay curious all the time because i think that if you stop being interested in what is around you, then you rapidly end up doing nothing. I dont say I am always super active all the time, I also like taking my time, to just relax not doing much (I can be pretty lazy some days), but I just think it cant become an everyday thing.
Then I of course want to live my life at 200%, experience a zillion things, party as much as I can, laugh as much as possible!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf whenever i can because now i feel its the only real way to travel. I REALLY wish i could host more, if it was just up to me i would do it with no hesitations.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All my couchsurfing experiences so far have been amazing. I have only met nice, open minded, fun and welcoming hosts. I dont think i can relate a specific story because each experience is unique and wonderful in a different way every time.

it is very hard to make a list, these are only a few of the authors i like. And like for the movies, making a list of titles is just impossible.

My favorite book of all time may be The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Teach, Learn, Share

I know that if you look at a chicken intensely in the eyes, it will fall asleep (don't try it with a cat though).
If we ever meet, I can teach you origami, how to make bracelets with wool or elastic bands, and little cubes out of french subway tickets.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Haven't hosted yet, but as a guest, I think a good host is not necessarily available all the time but needs to be ready to help in any way he can. When I traveled in Ankara, my host helped me get out of the city to see Cappadocia, helped me plan the trip to get there and find a place to stay even though he was working. That was amazing of him.
