Overview
About Me
I am French and have been living in the US (in Charlottesville, Virginia) since June 2016 only. I am now married to the love of my life, whom I met through an international exchange program in NYC a few years ago. I do freelance jobs, which is awesome for time flexibility. I am easy-going, discreet, adaptable - and all in all pretty happy and thankful for my life every day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new interesting people without having to go through the awkward first social moments of any meeting! And to travel and see places by staying with people actually living in those places, instead of only sight-seeing with the tourist map and nothing else. And in this day and age and 'fake news', it's all the more important to confront yourself to other opinions and perspectives, whatever the subject is!
Interests
I like to learn about new cultures and ways of doing/living, whether it be the in the countryside or the city; and foreign languages (whether it is learning them or talking about languages in general!). I like playing the saxophone and listening to music, drawing, be with my friends and my family - although they are now far away, thank God for Skype - and I'm a Greek mythology enthusiast (let's put it that way). I like hiking a lot, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and I recently took up racquetball for fun with some friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living in Greece! While that might not be an amazing thing in the "crazy" or "unbelievable" sense of the term, living 9 months in Greece was incredible and made me love this country forever. Such a beautiful and kind country. My secret wish is to go back there for good one day.
