ABOUT ME

Hi!
I am Margot, from Bruges, a tiny but beautiful city in Belgium. I graduated in June and worked this summer as lifeguard at the Belgian coast. This gives me the time and possibility to realize one of my dreams: Travelling through South-America! Together with my friend, I am travelling around for 7 months. We like to meet people, taste new flavors and discover other cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Together with a friend we were couchsurfing in Madrid and we could stay the weekend in the apartment of three sympathetic Peruvians. They showed us not only nice neighborhoods and the nightlife of Madrid, but gave me also the interest to discover Peru.
Also in Porto I had a very good experience with coachsurfing. It was such a good manner to meet new sympathetic people and to have the opportunity to learn more about the life in Portugal.

Interests

Travelling. Listening to other people stories, discover new things and point of views, discuss about things. I like to travel by hitch-hiking; it can result in a lot of surprises and interesting contacts.
Practicing sports. Swimming, running, skiing, biking, rafting, tennis,trekking,...
Friends. Making fun, hanging out, having a chat or making a good party.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cambodja, Angor Wat. I felt so small next to these overwhelming temples.
A day on Tomorrowland 2013, surrounded by people from the whole world.
Just being with some friends and seeing the sun sinking into the sea, enjoying a good glass of wine.
