ABOUT ME

24 year old Icelandic law student, taking a break from school and travelling around central and south America for 4 months.

I just finished my Bachelor degree last spring and decided this is the perfect time to go traveling. In 2009-2010 I took a gap year to go traveling. I lived in Namibia for 4 months and travelled to nearby countries. After that I went backpacking in south-east Asia with two of my friends. One of them is my friend Ingibjörg who I am now going to South-America with.

I have also traveled to most of Europe, lived in England until the age of 11 and spent a summer in Copenhagen as a bartender/runner.

Currently I am living in Reykjavík, Iceland.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never used couchsurfing before but heard alot of great stories and of friendships been made. Couchsurfing seems to be the perfect place to meet locals in order to get to know the country you are visiting from a different perspective than the usual tourist.

When I return from my travels early next year I am hoping to get a place of my own and looking forward to being a host.
