About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel to as many countries on the eastern hemisphere before returning across the pond.

ABOUT ME

I am an American from California, but born and raised between both New Hampshire and Vermont. I have recently graduated and have returned to Lyon, France for the year working as a teaching assistant. This time around I am trying to hit all the places I didn't get to the last time I was here. I am still a sucker for old stuff, and places with monuments, ruins, pyramids, etc. are especially exciting.
I have a passion for foreign languages and would like to learn more. Going to countries where I have the possibility to use or at least hear the language is especially a bonus.

PHILOSOPHY
I'll go wherever the wind blows

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
After surfing a couple of times now with nothing but great experiences and cool people CS is definitely something I will be using wherever I go. All of my hosts have made my trips infinitely better :] Not only do you get to meet really cool, like-minded and open people, you get to not feel like a tourist. Couchsurfing gives a different kind of adventure to traveling and it is such a great community.

Slept under the stars in the Sahara desert (Hotel d'une mille etoiles), doing yoga in the mountains with Stella in Crete.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you speak a language other than English and I am learning it, I will speak it until you get frustrated with my attempts and we absolutely must switch to English in order to make progress.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you are trying to practice English or French, I will also happily speak with you if that is what you wish.

If not, there is this Death by Chocolate trifle that I can teach you how to make because it's really easy and tastes really good despite its simplicity and the fact that all the times I have made it, it has never managed to be a trifle rather than a...dual-layer.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Egypt, England, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
