About Me

I'm a graduate student at UCSF that's super into trying new things, and learning from others about absolutely anything! I'm super active and love going new places and being outdoors, but also love balancing that out with chill nights cooking at home with my roommates.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've only heard good things about it, and I love to travel and meet new people - so here seemed like a good place to do it.

Interests

I'm an avid "mover" - I do gymnastics, I dance, run, and have started a gorgeous love affair with yoga. I also love to sing and take photos - my dad taught me photography and I do some fitness modeling.
And good food and coffee/tea are a big part of my life, put simply.
I also want to learn from others - tell me your stories, philosophies, recipes, about your culture and everything in between and beyond. I personally love people who ramble, as long as they ramble passionately.
I just started a doctorate program in physical therapy in San Francisco, so that’s where most of my time goes these days!

Music, Movies, and Books

Festivals have become a big part of my relationship with music, and have taught me not to shut any genre or artist out, because surprises and good sound are everywhere.
Movies are more difficult for me to get into, but I like musicals, documentaries, and every action movie that exists, no matter how bad the dialogue is.
Books are something I wish I had more time for, but favorite is probably Grayson.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've stood on the open platform of a thousand year old German church in the town where I was born and screamed that I was king of the world as the bells rang around me and I felt freer that I ever have before.

Teach, Learn, Share

I only have little to teach, maybe American customs and things you should know to stay safe and have fun in the LA/SF area, or knowledge about how to massage different muscles most effectively.
I mostly want to learn from others, and let them share their stories and reflect on what they have and want in life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can crack your back (I know you're stiff from travel) and show you great places to hike, drive, and take photos. My cooking abilities do not extend beyond breakfast, but I'll be damned if I don't make at least a decent morning scramble.
