Hello! I'm a young woman from the USA who is currently studying in Ireland. In 2014-2015 I spent an exchange year in Germany with a host family, which made me realize my love of languages, culture, and travel. After that I spent another year traveling around Europe and loved my time meeting locals and exploring new ways of life! My hobbies include reading, watching movies/TV shows, playing drums, and photography.

There's no substitute for meeting locals who live in the country I'm visiting versus just being a tourist. I find cultural differences fascinating and I'm always eager to learn a new way to look at the world.

I'd be happy to cook or bake traditional American dishes during my stay with you. My German host family's favorite is my apple pie :) I'd also be happy to practice English and/or German with you.
