My name is Mari,

Originally, I am Armenian, but i was born and raised in Moscow, moved to Armenia in 2022
So, I wouldn’t say I’m a local-local, but I'm local, and I love Yerevan, I’d love to show its beauty.

I really enjoy meeting new people, sharing life experiences, and different perspectives on the world, which is why I joined Couchsurfing.
I love spreading positive vibes, short and long walks and dance.

I studied Advertising and Public Relations, worked a lot with kids and teens in a camp, project manager and event manager in Moscow, now event manager in Yerevan.
Making mostly corporates and weddings.

In Yerevan, I studied clothes and jewelry design, and other cool things like natural dye and beads pleating.

I’m also planning trips for next year, so if we vibe well, would be nice to have people to meet

Have two dogs and two sisters hahaha
In free time I enjoy watching movies, tv shows, anime, playing videogames, oh! and i love to play pool (billiard) and table tennis!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I would love to host people, but unfortunately I live with my relatives now.

So i'm looking forward for hang out in Yerevan, short trips to cities nearby. As long as I hadn't enough time or effort, i've seen only Yerevan, Dilijan, Debet and Vanador, would love to go to Gyumri, Ijevan, Jermuk, more Lori region, Caxkadzor, etc.

Main goal is to practice english and spanish, also to have good vibes, cultural exchange and create kinda friendship and stuff.

Mostly I like to watch thrillers, but my favourite movie is "Clue" (1985) and maybe "The Greatest Showman".
Also i feel deeply "Cloud Atlas" and "The Giver"

Books
I love "The Minds of Billy Milligan", Edgar Allan Poe's stories, King's, Hugo's, Wells's books, so mostly chilling stories
Aaaand i love dystopian books such as "1984", "Brave New World", "A Clockwork Orange", "The Hunger Games", "Battle Royale", etc.

Anime and Videogames

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Kinda hard, I've nothing really huge, but I'll give you a few short facts

1. I carry 2 unplanned dogs
2. I went to Armenia for 2-3 months, but i stay here until now (since 2022's may)
3. I started to speak english just in 2024 and I belive that I got kinda mid level pretty fast
4. I started to learn manual work less than 2 years ago, but already can sew and make jewelry, dye fabric, do blockprinting, beading and I'm still on that way (update, I don't have time for it now, but I still want to be a designer (combining with job-job)
