About Me

I really enjoy meeting new people and hearing people´s life stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently unable to host, so I take part in the meetings and other activities organised by CSers here in Sao Paulo

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only been hosted once by a CSurfer - and that was prior to becoming a CSer myself. Before having any idea CS existed, I was hosted by semi-strangers and have hosted many semi-strangers too (ok, I explain what would be a semi-stranger: something like the never before heard of aunt of the girlfriend of the cousin of your friend - hehe). So, needless to say that when i was introduced to CS i instantly loved the idea - even if it took me some time to make my own profile!

Interests

I love art and cultural activities in general. You will often find me in a new exhibition or checking out a film festival from some unusual part of the world. I also enjoy going to the theatre and small concerts to shake the body. Not rarely i go to gigs of bands i had never heard of and many times they turned out to be very pleasant surprises. On a nice day, I like to chill out in a park or stop somewhere for peoplewatching.

Music, Movies, and Books

I quite enjoy being surprised by a good movie, so, I tend to pick random movies playing in a cultural centre or in websites like MUBI. I also love to watch movies from different corners of the globe, I guess it gives me a sense of travelling to that place and getting to know the culture.
The same for music...just connect to some unknown online radio and see how it goes - (ps> quiet fond of Brazilian, African and contemporary instrumental music)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lake Titicaca (such an energy); Salar de uyuni, Iguazu falls

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to talk about art, culture and I am really interested in languages as well ( i find very fascinating to understand how much languages can tell about a particular culture)...Learn?? As much as possible!

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Chile, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Morocco, Peru, Sweden, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
