About Me

Hello! I’m currently a law student in New Orleans, but I’m originally from northern Michigan. I hope to work in immigration and human rights law after school. Specifically, I would like to work with refugees.

I love to travel and wonder around new cities. I lived abroad for the first time in high school, where I stayed with a family in Guatemala. Ever since then I’ve really enjoyed staying with people in other countries and experiencing cultures through local eyes.

My family has hosted 5 exchange students over the years so I totally understand both the joys and struggles of having another person in your home, and the difference a respectful guest makes.

I love trying new foods, spending time outside, relaxing, (trying) to learn new languages, and meeting new people :)

This summer I’ll be traveling in Europe for school, so I won’t be able to host until late August

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ve never Couchsurfed before, but a friend of mine has and thought that I would love it so I’m giving it a try! I want to try all things “typical” for the place that I visit
