Hi! My name is Maria.

I love everything related to travel, food, people, beach, snow, mountains, fun. I am usually the one who does the researching and planning whenever I travel with my friends and I'm always on a lookout to explore new things.
Oh, I have always dreamed of being a polyglot, of being able to talk to people of different races and understanding them. I’m still working my way to get there.

On to the topic of hobbies… During my free time, I try to catch up on my reading and my journaling. I also blog and do a bit of tinkering from time to time to improve my little space in the world wide web. Nothing like spending time looking at beautiful things. I’m also learning how to cook and bake and Pinterest has given me a lot of ideas.

I'd love to connect with people who has an appetite for life, and Couchsurfing is giving me the opportunity to meet them.
Living life to the fullest has become my daily mantra. I follow this ideal, "Life is the sum of all experiences". Was swimming with a huge whale shark in the Philippines and Bungy jumped at the highest commercial bungy jump in the world, Macau Tower.
