ABOUT US :)

I`m Maria , i have just finished my studies of architect but till november i'm going to travel and celebrate with my friend Raquel so i'm going to introduce myself as a couple of friends :) .We are friends since we were 3 years old, we went to school & highschool toghether until we were 18, and we took different paths for our superior studies. After 8 years living appart, we finally have time enough to travel toghether. We are really friendly people, with a fresh attitude and happy thoughts. We were raised in Ibiza, that made us grow up in a nice, healthy and open-minded way, and as it's an island, we're used to travel a lot and feel free to move around the world.
We never get tired of visiting new places, meeting new people and discovering new cultures, we travel as much as we can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been on couchsurfing for 3 years and i had really great experiences with the people on it. I used to do it with a friend "Benjamin Hubert" , so i have not all the comments about my visits on my profile but he's on couchsurfing too (we used to meet people from his account) and you can see the coments on his profile about the different trips we've made!.
I think couchsurfing is a really different way of meeting people and discovering the cities. I did a trip of 15 days around Europe and it was wonderful also because all the hosts that help us and guide us in the different cities. Also is a great way to help each other when you're away from home and with the nice purpose of knowing new places.

Interests

One architect (Maria) and one engineer (Raquel), arts and photography lovers. We like to move around into nature and wild spaces, but we appreciate beautifull cities too. We paint, and we used to do gymnastics and dance. We love skiing too!
We love music, we've been to some festivals, and fortunately in ibiza we can go to great concerts every summer . We're not into the big discos and party hard thing, we preffer an afternoon party at the beach, having a beer in a quiet terrace, or going to a concert at our usual bar.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If you come to Ibiza, you have to try snorkeling while feeding the fish, you get surrounded by hundreds of them, it's beautiful! Going around (also in your own city) is just always amazing because one thing or another all the trips have an amazing thing!

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can talk about our contries and lifestyle, we can share likes and dislikes about the world around us and we can eat jamón or cook tortilla! hahaha
