Hello! My name is Mary, and I am from the rainiest city in my whole country - Saint Petersburg. It's a gorgeous place and, if you visit it one day, I will be delighted to show it to you in all its beauty.
However, as much as I like my hometown, I am also very much interested in travelling, visiting different places, different countries, meeting new friends from all over the world.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Couple of years ago I lived with a good friend and we hosted hitch-hikers from different parts of our country, using russian analogue of facebook to find each other. It was really nice. I liked getting to know people with different interests, philosophies, different opinions about everything.
And I think it will be even more exciting to meet people not from different cities, but countries. So here I am. I'm not quiet experienced in surfing as I am in hosting, but I hope to change it soon)

兴趣

Hiking, hitch-hiking, LARP, tabletop role-playing games (DnD, Gurps, etc.), board games, watching all the TV-shows ever existed, cooking.
Also I am very keen on my area of study, psychology.
And I'm a feminist.

Books:
My favourite ones would be: The Song of Ice and Fire, all Pratchett's books, some of the Dostoevskiy's and Bulgacov's books, Earthsea series. Fantasy and clussic russian literature are the best ;)
