Hello! I am a 23 year old from the United States (Colorado). I've been in Toulouse, France since September teaching English to middle schoolers through the TAPIF (teaching assistant in France) program. I have loved being able to host travelers with my roommates at my apartment here in Toulouse, but since I'll be leaving soon, I'd love to stay with some more couch-surfers in other European cities before I head back to the States! I enjoy hiking, running, markets, clubs, beer & wine, and of course exchanging about different cultures :)

I love meeting people from all different cultures and experiencing travel in a more authentic way. At my university in the U.S., I participated in exchanges through choir (music) and I fell in love with the more intimate, meaningful way to see new places. I try now to stay away from the traditional "tourist" mentality when I'm traveling and also to stay away from consumerism/materialism (definitely not perfect, but I'm trying!). I know that experiences are what I will remember most and what can teach me the most. When I return to the U.S., I would be happy to host or give advice!

I love moments where your way of thinking is completely altered, and speaking with people from other cultures is one way to to this more frequently.
