I am Maria Candelaria, I am 33 years old and I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I work as a biochemist and pharmacist in a laboratory that produces veterinary vaccines, but every time I can, I do the things I enjoy the most, traveling and surfing. I like almost any sport but surfing is the one that I love the most. A year ago I also discovered diving and it made me crazy, so now I enjoy traveling to places where I can surf and dive.

I am always willing to go out and have fun, good food, listen to good music and if it is outdoors better yet. I enjoy the little things in life, the air in my face when I run or walk barefoot in the grass or a yoga session on the beach, and I believe that when you enjoy such simple things it is impossible not to be happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend of mine recommended couchsurfing based on her own experience and as I love visiting new places, people and their cultures, it seemed to me a really good idea. I tried couchsurfing for the first time 4 years ago in many places of Europe and I enjoyed it that much that I belive it was a one way path.

Interests

I love surfing, so when I'm not in the water I try to keep myself trained. I also practice yoga, go running, ride a bicycle.
I always liked water activities, such as swimming or snorkeling, but a year ago I discovered diving and it drove me crazy.
