Hello, my name is Maria and I am from Greece. As an active traveller and very energetic person, I always wanted to meet new people and cultures. For me interacting with the locals and getting to know things from first hand is very interesting. My goal is to travel all around the world, meet people and get unique experiences. I am new on couchsurfing but very excited about it. Currently, I am living in Girona, Spain where i am writing the final master thesis of my Master Degree on Tourism Management. After my trip to Portugal I am flying to Rio, Brazil where i will volunteer on the Olympic Games.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Through couchsurfing you can definately make your trip to a place authentic. Interacting with the locals and staying at their places is a great way to see how people live, what they do on a baily basis, how they look like, learn from them and teach them. It seems to be being a great experience, and i cant wait to try it.
