Hey, people, my name is Maria and I'm a polish video art student (actually on a gap year now) soon to be based in London, England. Like most of the young people, I love traveling but I'm usually too broke to do so. I do hitchhike a lot to save up money but sometimes hotels or even hostels are way out of my budget so when my friend told me about this app it literally felt like all of my prayers have come true! Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During the gap year I'm having right now I have traveled a lot and finally, at the beginning of March, I've settled in Berlin, thanks to lovely people who let me couch surf around their houses at the start of my journey. Now that the summer has started I want to travel again and I believe that the best way to do so is to connect with the true citizens of places I want to visit. This is also why I believe Couchsurfing is the best option for myself!
