Hello!
I just came back to Porto after being a bit all over the place. I'm living in a nice flat with two amazing people eager to share their lives and space with others.
I'd say we are all creative, curious and understanding people and very much like having guests at home.
As for myself, I love painting, playing music, doing drama, reading and going to Nature.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because it's a place where you can travel in a less alienated way, getting to connect with people. I love this idea of human cooperation and trust.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a lot of traditional and folk music (I've been obsessed with Lior Shoov lately), but also some contemporary, experimental, jazz, classical, psychedelic... My music taste is kind of all over the place honestly.
When it comes to movies I love studio Ghibli and some cartoon saloon movies (such as Wolfwalkers). I also absolutely love Summit of the Gods, Flee and Never Look Away.
When it comes to books, Ursula le Guin is probably my favourite author, and The Dispossessed my favourite book.
And I like to always slowly read the Tao Te Ching on repeat.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know what counts as amazing 😅
I've participated on some plays, helped with the artistic montage of a festival, had a few small collective art exhibitions. Done some hitchhiking and some volunteering..
Growing up in the Azores is by itself pretty amazing though. Sleeping under the stars, swimming at night with bioluminescent plankton, seeing dolphins and whales, climbing volcanoes and entering craters...

Teach, Learn, Share

I guess in a way I can teach about art (painting, music and drama). And I'm open to learn about anything. Mostly philosophy, literature, politics, ecoliving, activism, culture....

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can only offer good conversations, art and music. Usually when I stay at someone's place, be it friend or stranger I leave some drawing or painting behind.
