Overview
About Me
New to the Couchsurfing world, however, I'm looking to get as much out of life as possible and to take more chances while I'm young! A lover of animals and nature and am always curious to learn more about life from those that have experienced it differently than I have. Open to new ideas and respectful of other practices and beliefs while in the midst of trying to figure out those things for myself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The idea of a mode of travel that immerses you more deeply in new cultures and allows me, as a student, to get out there and experience these opportunities at a lesser cost is perfect for me!

Music, Movies, and Books
Pretty much anything, but my guilty pleasure is country music; and as for books and movies, LOTR series, Toni Morrison's Beloved, Austen, The Sound of Music, Good Will Hunting, Footloose, Pan's Labyrinth, A Time to Kill, Inception, Little Rascals... I love me some movies and books and while I may not have the most sophisticated taste am open to suggestions.
"I stand upon my desk to remind myself that we must constantly look at things in a different way."
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've met people from around the world while working in tourism, hearing and sharing amazing stories along the way.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some French and a little lost Gaelic of Scotland that came to Cape Breton long ago, and how the many cultures that have come to Canada have shaped us greatly. But I am more interested in learning from you and sharing adventures!
What I Can Share with Hosts
My love of adventure and history, and a genuine wish to learn your story... along with some good company and a cooked meal of thanks should you desire one.
