Hello!! My name is Maria, I am from Spain but I live in England since 2011. I believe I am a cheerful, friendly and easy-going person.

I have always been very interested about learning from different cultures, what has brought up my passion for traveling. As soon as I have a few days I am on my way for the next adventure :)

I like to follow a sustainable travel lifestyle, a way of traveling and exploring a destination while respecting its enviroment, culture and people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet local people in the places I visit to learn new cultures and to see from their eyes the places where they live.

Doesn’t matter how far you go, even in the your same city, it is amazing the amount of different things you can learn from other people, I don’t think I could ever be bored of learning from others experiences.

Specially I do love everything relating with traditional handcrafts and cooking, I couldn't found better way to relax and disconnect.

I worked for short periods as a Spanish, English and cooking teacher. I don’t consider myself a master teacher of anything, but I am always happy to help in whatever I can.
