Hi there!
My name is Maria, I'm a half Greek, half German psychologist who decided to keep on studying, 'cause it's fun! I'm originally from Munich, but currently living in Hamburg, Germany.
I lived in Kenya for 5 years and travelled around south america for quite some time after my bachelors.
I love travelling, meeting new people, going out, hiking, the sea, cooking and trying out different beers from all over the world. (My personal favourite: Tusker, from Kenya)
I loved to get to know different kinds of people, but since my interest lies more in the actual place I'm visiting rather than a drunken pub crawl with Otto from Germany and Erica from Sweden I decided to also join this thing called "couchsurfing" :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that one can only really experience a place by spending time with locals and hope to meet some more interesting people who are equally interested in meeting me :)
