Hello!! My name is Maria. I'm 23 (when I'm writing it I'm shocked)...I just graduated from Academy of Fine Arts, where I studied mixed media. Now I'm taking a gap year to rethink everything and come back with more energy and chosen path of what I really want to do in my life.

I've already visited quite a lot, but I can't stay in one place and I always want to go even further. For a one year I studied Spanish philology and I fell in love with both the language and the culture, especially Latin America.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

With my boyfriend Paweł we are planning a trip to South America (Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador) during a period November - January 24-25. For us, meeting new people it's a big part of travelling - if not the most important!!
It would be so cool to have friends all over the world. Going to a place on the other part of the world and talking with someone who just a second ago was a complete stranger and now is a very good friend sounds like a dream.....We would be very happy to spend a time with you and listen to your story. Instead we would offer you a VERY interesting and nice time with us!! We can make pierogies, tell you everything about Poland or take a photoshoot :DD

About music: it depends on my condition. When I'm sad I'm listening to reggaeton - this type of music always makes me think of the hot sun. Normally I love polish rap.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the best things I've done is hitchhiking across Iceland to see an erupting volcano (and then almost dying when we got caught in a downpour in the dark in the middle of nowhere......that part was not that cool....)
