I am an Italian girl who had to move out from her home country to get a proper diploma in subtitling. I have been living in France for two years and I am really happy with it. I am a geeky person, I love reading books, doing crosswords and I am a t.v. series addicted.
I also have a real passion for food. I love to eat and cook relaxes me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I think it is the only way to see the cities and Countries not simply as a tourist but as a native of the place. I really enjoy staying with locals and taking advices and tips to better discover a city.

Interests

I watch a huge amount of tv series because I also subtitle some of them for a fansub community. This passion has pushed me to study subtitling and multimedia translation. This is really my leitmotiv.
Another huge passion of mine, that I have since I was a child, is reading. My bookcase, back home, occupies a whole wall.
I love cooking and experiment in the kitchen. I make lovely lasagnas and terrible pot au feu. Still some room for improvement!

I don't really have a favorite movie, My favorite actor is Johnny Depp, therefore I love "Chocolat" and "Edward Scissorhands". One of my favorites is also "Love me if you dare", a French movie.
My favourite band is Arctic Monkeys.
My favorite book is an Italian one: Il suggeritore by Donato Carrisi.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2015 I had the chance of doing paraglider. It was an amazing feeling, I felt free. I was flying like a bird. It was a gift from my boyfriend and we did this together. I think this is the most amazing thing I've ever done.
I'm waiting to add up bungee jumping to the list.

Teach, Learn, Share

Currently I am learning Spanish, because I will move to Barcelona in February. I have taught Italian and English to children and adults.. so if you are interested in languages I can teach you some way of saying and whatever you what to know.
