About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To love and learn and share!

ABOUT ME

I enjoy learning new things and love listening to people's stories about their travels, home countries, occupations, background, etc, as well as sharing my own experiences. I've traveled a lot thanks to music, seen some beautiful places, and encountered lots of wonderful people in my path.

PHILOSOPHY

Finding love and spirituality in nature and in the people around me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted several fascinating travelers in my home with my husband.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was with a couple of couchsurfers from New Zealand that stayed with my husband (then boyfriend!) while I was visiting him; my fabulous time with them made me want to become a more active couchsurfing member.

Interests

I love eating delicious food, taking naps, dancing Latin music, cooking, being in nature, biking on beautiful days, walking, and watching good shows

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: too many to mention!
Books: the Alchemist
Music: I love listening to classic rock and folk-influenced music from around the world

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing that I've seen and that visits my memories every day is the Angel Falls in Venezuela. It was such a humbling, breathtaking, inspiring experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can give anyone a violin lesson, a Spanish lesson, or a salsa dancing lesson.
And I love learning about anything!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a traditional Venezuelan or another tasty home-cooked meal; music lessons and recordings of my playing; a scoby mother or kefir grains from our own batches!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belize, Colombia, El Salvador, England, Germany, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Portugal

Countries I’ve Lived In

Spain, United States, Venezuela
