About Me
Heeeeeya! Nice to meet you.
It's Maria here.
I'm a curious person, down-to-earth because of gravity.
I like to vary, very much.
A quiet yet chaotic mind, effortlessly dichotomic, in constant motion, forming new temporary dreams.
A frigging walking contradiction.
Come get trippy with me.
I believe in diversity and individuality as an added value.
"Not all who wander are lost."
"Mi piace immaginare che il mondo sia un unico grande meccanismo. Sai, le macchine non hanno pezzi in più. Hanno esattamente il numero e il tipo di pezzi che servono. Così io penso che se il mondo è una grande macchina, io devo essere qui per qualche motivo. E anche tu!"
(da Hugo Cabret)
*****UPDATE*****
I moved to a different place and still able to host every now and then! :)
I WON'T ACCEPT ANY "COPY AND PASTE" REQUEST.

To begin the wonderful journey of living a beautiful life, I understood I had to take a good, hard look at the stuff that I may have been denying for years, which has been under wraps without me even knowing.
That's how I discovered Couchsurfing!

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to music, I'm kind of loyal to the "old but gold", if you know what I mean!
I mostly enjoy rock music and acoustic jams, but I'm open to different genres. As long as it's catchy, why not! (I do have some guilty pleasures!)
I like psychological films/shows and will appreciate it more if there's any grotesque element in it. (If you want a few concrete examples, I would enjoy films like "Split" or "Fight Club", trippy stuff ranging from Švankmajer's to Lynch's films, series like "Black Mirror" or "Lie to me"). Yet you know, I will never say no to a Simpsons episode :)
I don't normally read books but will be happy to listen to your advices, if you have any.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I unfollowed many "safe" paths.
I got smiled back from complete strangers and I loved it!
Being average does not equal being mediocre, it's a fine line but life's so good when you're living in the moment, blending and balancing the ordinary and the extraordinary. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Italian 101: I'll try my best to teach you some useful, basic italian (and bad words. because it's the praxis, loves)
I'm happy to share my flat with you (you will have either a sofa-bed and/or a single bed for yourself. They are in my living room).
I will take you sightseeing to the best of my ability and I don't mind sharing a homemade meal with my guests.
Quiet nights in jamming and chatting could be as fun as a night out and definitely more treasurable. Bring your instruments, your childlike wonder and your passions at my home.
As long as you're respectful, we'll get along. I might be a giver... but not a fool!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to bring useful gifts: if they whine, I wine. Food. Toilet paper. Guest towels. It could be anything. Do you like surprises? There you go.
You don't? Doesn't matter, little things are inconsequential if you don't appreciate them. :)
I'd consider what I am costing the host and I do value respect and kindness more than money.
