I grew up in Mexico, spent my teens Texas, and moved to Seattle after finally finding the perfect opportunity to pursue my lifelong dream of living in that amazing city and graduating from the University of Washington! I recently moved to Madrid, Spain, for a temporary job as a language tutor, so here I am.
I am an outdoors enthusiast, crave and eat chocolate 24/7, enjoy beer and picnics, and am overly obsessed with dogs.
I mostly listen to latin, country, and jazz music!
I grew up dancing and playing sports here and there. I haven't played sports or danced competitively in quite a long time but I wouldn't say no to a friendly match of soccer or basketball. I'm also always on the lookout for new running trails and running buddies.
I'm an easy-going girl, you'll always catch me smiling, and don't like to waste my energy in arguing; I prefer to agree to disagree, I expect others to respect my opinions in return. Living with roommates had made me realize I am a bit of a clean-freak... there's just that thing about respecting other's living space that I value so much (and I am sure you might too).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to break out of my comfort bubble and experience a new culture from the inside; I want to better understand the country I am visiting from an insider's perspective. I’m someone who often needs company to stay energized, but I can't resist my urge to travel and get to know the world around me so I just "solo" it! I love meeting new people and making friends in a different country who could show me super fun and exciting things to do in his/her city. I also love the idea that there is kindness in the world and that we can share something we have in exchange of something that isn't money.

I love teaching people Spanish and sharing the latin music I love and dance! I'm always curious to learn about different cultures, especially the cuisine, and how things work differently than in my country.
