About Me

Ive been an adventurer all my life and traveled extensively for many years, working and living in China, Japan, Africa, & Latin America.
I am deeply interested in Eastern philosophy and from that interest began a physical and spiritual practice of Internal and External Martial Arts, and Yoga. The search for Meaning in the things we do has governed the choices I make about where and how I live and governs how I develop a better with this our natural world.
I have lived and worked in the Baja, Mexico, where I raised my son, for the last 15 years but since he is independent and following his chosen direction, I have had more time to travel and explore and am interested in exploring options in further education in transformational development and conflict resolution studies.
I love being on the sea and especially being under the water and my plan for this year is to get back into freediving at depth to define my full potential. It is my meditation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing because I am investing all my efforts into travel, learning and disciplining myself into training for a defined goal.
I am interested in cultural exchange and local life in the places I chose to visit but also I have to be careful and resourceful as I am funding this life choice on my own and the journey may be a long one!

Teach, Learn, Share

My personal mantra is along the lines of self improvement and in helping others to discover what their higher potential is.

My mission to live with integrity and to make a difference in the lives of others to fulfill this.

My deeper search is to develop compassion to respect all beings.

I sacrifice my time to listening, to helping others validate who they are and to disciplining myself to make the things I believe most important happen.

I strive to inspire and share the talents I have.

I strive to achieve a better balance in the life I am trying to live .
