Due to my father working for the Norwegian Navy, my life has consisted of moving... a lot! Though I'm originally from Norway I have also lived in Germany and the USA for a few years. After finishing high school in America, I made the decision to go back to Norway in order to earn my degree. I started out studying International environment and development, but after two years I switched to special education. I made the decision of wanting to work within education during a study/research trip to Tanzania.
I'm currently living 20min outside of Oslo with my amazing boyfriend. We just bough a house a few months ago, which we are slowly renovating and can't wait to host people in.

I love to travel, and I think that's probably a very standard answer for this sort of social media site. More than that, I love to meet new people.
The reason why I decided to join now, is because one of my best friends is coming from the US and we're hoping to see Amsterdam on a student budget. And making new friends along the way doesn't seem the bad way to go :)

Intereses

Ah! What a question... what am I not interested in? ....I have to admit that my greatest passion is dancing. Though I'm classically trained in ballet, I have also ventured into other styles. My most recent one, and the one that has truly captured my heart would be West Coast Swing.
I'm generally a quiet and polite person, but if you want me engaged in conversations, talk to me about reasons for existence, or if we really do, maybe even about the failures of our governments to take action towards creating a better educational system.

Música, películas y libros

I love to read, and I have too many favourite books to name them all. Recently I just read Jurassic Park considering a new movie in the franchise was just released. I also adore the Harry Potter series (Duh!), The Girl With All The Gifts, and Kite Runner.
Music... basically anything I'm willing to dance to.
Movies: anything but horror. I do like thrillers, but not Horror.

There were a few that came to mind when I read this, but my favourite one must be taking my first breaths underwater. I learned to scuba dive when I was around 17ish. And I'll never forget that moment when I first fully submerged into the tranquility.

My experiences, I guess. I think one of the greatest gifts I have received is that of words. Words aren't always meant to be written down, but to be past on from person to person in the form of stories we tell to each other. Sharing about our experiences and learning about those of others is a great way to learn a little more about the people who live among us.
