I have a great passion for etching, in my view, there is nothing quite as extraordinary as the form and patterns found in metal engraving and linocut. However I am also very interested in other areas such as illustration, animation, graphic design and the conceptual dimension of art. I strive to realize my school projects by considering them visually and spatially, relating them to the situation and the area.
Apart from my academic studies I also engage in volunteer work and I consider this as an important source of inspiration in for my art because in my opinion art can not be separated from social context. I am vice president at the non profit organization Green and Wild which is based in Cluj Napoca.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I know that the experience of travel abroad will help me develop myself and improve my abilities. The Couchsurfing Program is definitely the perfect opportunity to interface with other cultures, learn a new language, work under a different educational system and enrich my experience.
