About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoying every moment, giving love to the people I care about and being happy
ABOUT ME
I am outgoing and open minded. I love travelling and this is how I ended up working in Italy almost ten years ago! I really like meeting new people from all over, I lived in a house with volunteers for 5 years in Verona, and worked with them for the care and maintenance of the Park of the Walls in Verona.
I engage myself in the care for the environment and cultural activities. Since I came back to Mexico I have been working on social projects with youngsters.
I've been used to live in an international and multicultural environment, and I love it!
PHILOSOPHY
Slow-living, enjoying what you do without frenzi (or at least trying to do so!)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had a different answer here before - love meeting people, love engaging, usual stuff - which I still feel.
Yet after a thought I think CS is a great proof that there is good in humanity, and that despite there are many horrors in the world, there are still kind people who are willing to meet strangers and give them a hand.
Interests
Environment and volunteering are my passion! I also love working with youngsters in social proyects.
Another big passion of mine is eating and drinking. Really! I love trying new stuff, I really enjoy good quality and (if possible) artisanal products and food - beer, wine, pastries. I love to cook, me and my boyfriend make our own jam, I bake cakes (sometimes with him too), we have even done our own nutella! If I find an interesting recipe I really enjoy giving it a try (although I am not always succesful!!).
I love learning in general and I also love learning languages, when possible tracing the origins of a word.
I really like to travel, ever since I was a kid my grandfather used to take the whole crew out for a trip, near or far, and since then I have loved discovering new places, people and costumes.
I have discover a great sport in slacklining, and although I am not really good at it yet I like to spread the word and get more people "on the line"!

Music, Movies, and Books
I really like historical novels - Umberto Eco is one of my favourite writers; I also love the basic sci-fi books - 1984, Farenhait 450, Brand New World, Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy, Terry Pratchett's Disc World novels- , but I am curious to read, see and listen all kinds of music, books and movies :-)
Movies is a tough one, but lately I have loooooved every kevin spacey movie (seven, usual suspects, Ordinary Decent Criminal, etc.
In Music I am into reggea but there are many things I like depending on the mood.
Series: Game of Thrones, Wired, Big Bang Theory, or something that catches my eye... saw one called Psych and also Bones... sorry I just really like tv series...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Iceland left me breathless... so did the "Cenotes" in Yucatàn :-)
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to take people around the Walls of Verona to have an insight on European military architecture..
I love to learn! Specially cooking and languages :-)
I like sharing local and house experiences, parties with the neighbours, making jam or just going to the best local bars :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love bringing a typical or homemade product from my city, I can cook a meal for you (and clean up after!) and hopefully some nice chats and experiences.
