About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"The secret to having it all is knowing you already do."

ABOUT ME

open minded, motivating, thoughtful, respectful, kind, peaceful :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CS local community during my work stay in Santiago de Chile in 2012.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went regularly to events from Couch Surfing in Santiago de Chile to meet the local community and for me it was a great way to get to know a lot of Chileans! After my first CS stays in Africa and Iran I so so so dont want to do anything else anymore! How different to really BE and GO to local homes and families! I absolutely love it and I see myself very blessed for all the hosts which have so far let me into their home and life :)

WHY I WANT TO DO COUCHSURFING
During my former travels I realized that just staying in hostels and among other travellers can be fun no doubt but it does only touch each place / city / region on the edge and I would love to hear perspectives from people living there, understand their point of view about things going on in the country and having the feeling to interact with someone who truly lives there and is not packing their back pack every second day :) In return I am more than happy to share all experiences done so far, have nice chats, a good laugh and if wanted have a good home cooked meal together :)

Interests

IMPORTANT FOR HOSTS
I would like to let you know beforehand so that there are no surprises :)
- I follow a VEGAN diet (I cook and eat everything which is on a plant based basis)

ABOUT ME
End of April 17 I quit my former job, quit my apartment and I am now travelling, working and volunteering for a longer period abroad with no set route or time frame! I did already travel some bit before but this for me is a first! Not knowing what is coming next and what will bring the next days is truly a new experience for me and I am excited what I will learn, experience and encounter during this trip :)

I am interested in dancing (cuban salsa, bachata, reggaeton, salsaton,...), playing samba (drums/surdo), cooking, yoga and mindfull practices, sustainable and responsible travel initiatives, volunteering, teaching, painting, meeting friends for long chats, reading, thinking and talking about someones passion in life, sitting at a beach and just enjoy the moment, speaking and learning new languages, getting to know different customs and traditions, getting to know locals of every place I go to, getting out of my comfort zone and making memorable experiences, seeing the world through different eyes after every step I take

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: latin music (Salsaton, Salsa, reggaeton romantico), Flamenquito

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I try to see amazing things every day and feel gratitude also for the little things :)
