About Me
I've recently moved from Lisbon to the south of Portugal, believing I needed a slow-paced life after living in a burnt-out environment.
Moving away from a major city does have its benefits, but adjusting has been challenging.
I have a boring job - typical office work, and no real fulfilling hobbies.
Apart from work I love to: immerse into nature; (if not recovering from an injury) I'll be chasing that "runners high"; whenever I find a Volleyball buddy, I like to do that as well.
Lately I've been investing in improving my English and I desperately need someone to talk to… (for that purpose x) )
I enjoy learning about random stuff, on various subjects - from astronomy, economy, zoology, etc - only to forget a sec later and mix it all up when trying to recall it =o
Sometimes getting to know people with different backgrounds is very enlightening, meaningful, insightful and this converge into the next topic…
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A few years ago I impulsively joined CS and hosted 2 people. That experience was very refreshing, exhilarating and eye-opening. Years went by and I find myself searching for something different then where I’m already at, knowing what I already know… I want to widen my horizons and make new connections with people. And travel!
I'm new to CS and I hope this is a true community of people to interchange stories, ideas... to come together and enjoy each other's company while exploring the surroundings somewhere… I'm NOT interested in romantic affairs around here :]

What I Can Share with Hosts
This is a though one. I cook horrendously. I can sew like a 10 year-old. As a typical younger sister I'm better listener then a storyteller since I’m terrified to bore people with my rants. And History used to be my least favorite subject until... (Maybe still is) so, that doesn't make up for a proficient tourist guide.
I can share some tips on how I've survived this far without food poisoning myself..? How not to drawn (I've been there, done that); how to ‘graciously’ fall from an electric scooter at 5km/hr and worry to death your travelling companions. Besides all that: great washing-dishes-skills!
Let me know if you’re interested in any of my classes.
Mostly I would like to share joyful moments, deep conversations and light-meaningless ones as well 😊
