About Me

I first had a host at home when participating in an exchange programme of my university. At first I was afraid of having a strager sleeping in my flat, but I was glad I had done it after just five minutes of talking to her.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am an out-going girl who loves traveling, meeting new people and collecting experiences all over the world. Couchsurfing allows people to travel and meet locals and truly appreciate life and culture in a different place. I believe this is a special way to take advantage of everything a trip can offer and not just to see life with tourist eyes through a lense.
Couchsurfing is a chance to meet amazing people, discover new perspectives and having fun by helping others to travel the cheapest and kindest way.

Interests

Though I might seem like a science girl, I am also a passionate lover of the arts. I am an eager reader and I enjoy watching movies (any kind) and listening to music. In my free time, you can find me playing my clarinet, rollerskating, looking for new bars and cafés, visiting art galleries or watching movies in cheap theatres. Music concerts are my #1 weakness. I like going to summer festivals, stadium concerts or intimate recitals.
Nevertheless, I hardly ever say no to any night plans and I am always ready to have fun and discover new things.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music style is rock, but I enjoy listening to almost any gender depending on my mood (which changes quite often).

When it comes to movies, I am crazy about horror movies, but also in for a good drama or a hilarious commedy. Don't be afraid to choose a ridiculous parody or a children's cartoon movie. I really enjoy watching TV series on the internet (I would recommend Utopia, Black Mirror, Orange is the New Black as my latest interests).

I love printed books. Not a big fan of kindle. I quite like Murakami's novels, The Little Prince, Viriginia Woolf or John Steinbeck. Also, Spanish authors such as Vargas Llosa or García Márquez brought tears to my eyes. I am into poetry as well but more as a reader than as a writer. And after all this time, always Harry Potter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to Amazonas. Swimming in the river and sleeping in a hammock in the jungle. A dream come true and a place I will visit again for sure!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Spanish or English and would love to practice French or Portuguese.
I am already 5/6 of a doctor, so if you feel sick I hope I can help a little.
If for some reason you have a clarinet and want to learn, I will try my best to teach you a bit!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am always willing to share stories, watch a good movie, have a drink or go out.
I'm not a great cook, but I can offer a typical Spanish dinner with potato omelette and sangría. Anyway, I'm willing to do the dishes and, of course, I'll clean everything I get dirty!
