About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Make you smile =)
ABOUT ME
La sonrisa es la lengua internacional.
I have a baby dog and won't be able to accept guests for a while, sorry.
I'm 33 years old and leave in Frankfurt am Main with my roommate Mr. Gray and since a few months with my dear sister.
I work in a city near by - Wiesbaden. Since I go by train (1,5 hours), I come back pretty late. I enjoy the "rest" of the day by going to yoga classes or reading a book, concentrating on my new hobbies. I love going for a walk along Main, sit outside by good and sunny weather, practice riding longboard, or slacklining. These and photography are my new hobbies which I intend to continue practicing since I enjoy them a lot.
In the cold winter days, I prefer staying at home, drinking tee and reading. Well on Saturdays maybe go to the flea market.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm not gonna share my personal philosophy here... you can BUY my book, which is gonna come out... like.... I don't know.... 2020...
But here a thought which matches me pretty well and on which I am working pretty hard:
“Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.” - George Bernard Shaw
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
well... I heard a lot of good staff...which is also kinda logical; why would I else sign in?!?! =)
Today everyone travels or make vacation somewhere outside of the country. Unfortunately, everyone is different. Some like to sped their time in a fancy hotel, some like to go and visit all the tourist sightseeings. Some are good at packing, some are good at planing their trip, some like to travel alone and some in a group.
Well I'm the one that never packs the stuff i need or too many stuff, or forget stuff; and I'm obviously bad at it. I am very bad in making plans, maybe because I'm lazy or just don't care that much and go with the flow. I do not like using maps, just get lost and find what the city has to offer; once I got lost with a few friends in Granada and ended up drinking red wine and dancing flamenco in a local bar with some great people. I love meeting and hanging out with local people, and get a taste of their way of life. I prefer traveling alone or in a small groups. hmmmm maybe I'm a pushover or just too chill about some things, but all in all I am bad in making decisions....
What I am good in, is that I can adapt to new situations, customs and people very fast. I smile and people smile right back; so making new friends is not that heard, no matter the fact that we don't speak the same language =)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I don't have that many experience yet since I didn't have the opportunity to travel that much before. I hosted a few times some lovely people. I hope to host more often now that I leave alone =)
Lea and Franziska became very good friends. I think it's time to meet up the 3 of us again....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
2015 - I stopped smoking and I intend leaving it that way =)
and most of all - I went to Nepal, spontaneously.
Why spontaneously - because it was a phase in my life when I was going through some changes, it was hard, and scary.... but as it turned out, the time is always perfect to travel, to see new thing, to try a new way of life, to help people, to appreciate life in general.
My sister and I were in Nepal as volunteers and saw so many things. Things we could never image, things that made us laugh, things that made us cry.
This was the one of the amazing things in my life so far which I'm very thankful for.
