My name's Maria, I'm 22 years old and I'm studying Journalism and Creative Writing + English and History at University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. I'm Danish and I have only lived in Glasgow for a couple of months, but my education is 4 years, so I am probably going to become a tad Glaswegian by the end of it.
This year, I am living in halls and I can therefore not offer a couch for anyone to sleep on, since we're not allowed to do that, but next year, when I move, I'll be living in a real flat and I will be happy to welcome guests to my home!

I love reading, I love writing and I love taking pictures. I love aesthetics and everything beautiful.
I also love food - every kind of food!
I love movies and music and I spend most of my money on going to the cinema and to concerts. Well, the money I don't save up for travelling anyway!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

My favourite music is just about anything! I enjoy classic music, I love mainstream pop music and boybands, but my heart belongs to rock'n roll.

On the list of bands I love is among others: Biffy Clyro, Fall Out Boy, The Killers, Paramore, Ed Sheeran, July Talk, You Me At Six, Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Oasis, Against The Current and many more. Also, my guilty pleasures are 5SOS, One Direction, Taylor Swift and Nickelback. I know these are not artists you're supposed to mention if you wanna be cool, but there you go :D

My favourite movies are everything Marvel, everything fantasiesque (LOTR, Harry Potter, Star Trek etc.), Disney movies, romantic comedies and movies about World War 2. Also, Forest Gump makes me cry several times during the movie, every single time I watch it.

Books - well, don't get me started. I have read all the Harry Potter books more than four times and I know you can't really say that all the HP books are your favourite, but they are. And also, I love finding little unknown, new authors and read their amazing, undiscovered books. I am currently reading The Next Together whenever I have time in between all the school-books. It's pretty amazing.

Also, I love good, beautiful poetry that gives me chills and makes my heart beat faster.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I once binged an entire season of Game of Thrones in one day.

Also, I went to Australia two years ago to meet my father for the first time, that was quite an adventure!

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I will name-drop the best actors from the best movies and I will make you look up little indie bands no one knows and I can cook for you as well, I'm always up for sharing recipes!

And everyone always seem to wanna learn how to say beer in Danish, so if you don't already know, I should be able to teach you that as well!
