My life revolves around the mountains - climbing, skiing, running, biking and just enjoying. After years living in various mountain towns around the world I eventually moved back to the rolling hills I grew up in and am currently living in the Lake District (though plotting to escape back to loftier heights).

There's nothing better than trading adventure stories over a beer, enjoying the sunset from a mountain top or swooshing through powder snow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love hearing people's stories, finding inspiration in their adventures.

I know what it's like to be in a strange country, alone, just needing a shower and somewhere to sleep. I've been so grateful for the beds and friends that Couchsurfing has given to me and love being able to return that to travelers passing through this lovely area of the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a small house about half an hour's walk from Windermere, which I share with my boyfriend Neil. We're happy to host you and have an air mattress for you to sleep on. Please bring a sleeping bag though! You're welcome to use the kitchen - and it would be great if you cooked enough for us to eat too! Short notice is usually ok.
